Greetings! I am Sunanda Vaidheesh, soon to be starting my master’s at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) this fall. I’ll be enrolling in the Technology, Innovation, and Education (TIE) program and I’m excited for the year I have ahead of me. I graduated from Grinnell College (IA) this spring, majoring in sociology and global development studies. I’m passionate about the intersection of education, technology, and global development–so, the digital divide (or “digital inequality,” as theorists are starting to call it now), issues of access and inequality, digital literacy and fluency development, and ways in which we can harness technology to better the lives of those most in need.

I’m hoping this blog can become a place for me to post my musings and reflections about education, technology, the digital divide, learning, pedagogy, international development, as well as living and learning in Cambridge/Boston. I want to make sure that I write more and capture my thoughts about these issues in writing more often, so hopefully this platform will help me do that.

So, here’s to a new blogging start!
